Sergio Stark is from Minas Gerais. He started working as a woodworker in Rio de Janeiro. He became interested in design after working on the fabrication and assembly of the SR2 wooden houses with architect Sérgio Rodrigues. Today, he has the Stark Studio, where he began to dedicate himself exclusively to authorial design with a strong influence of brazilian modernism, with prizes and exhibitions such as the Brasil Design Award and Museu da Casa Brasileira.
