A large house for a young couple with three children who love life outside. Spacious and integrated environments to receive friends and family. These were the premises with which the office View Arquitetura worked to build a house from scratch in the residential Alphaville, in Fortaleza.
Due to the great concern of the owners of the house with their children's leisure and with visiting friends and family, the outdoor area was one of the focus of attention of the project signed by the architects Natália Vale and Lucas Cunha. “They have a big family that they are always partying with. Also, boys love spending time outdoors and entertaining friends. That's why the couple wanted a large and cozy outdoor area”, explains Natália.
To achieve this goal, the professionals invested in a light-colored cement floor on the veranda and gourmet space, and a slatted wooden deck around the pool, with careful landscaping by Thiago Borges, and DonaFlor Mobília pieces to compose the décor. “What led us to choose DonaFlor was exactly the concept of comfort, lightness, simplicity and Brazilianness of the project, and the possibility of customizing each piece of furniture”, says the architect.

Natália and Lucas decorated the gourmet space with the Bask table, signed by
Lattoog, with Loop chairs, by Rejane Carvalho Leite, at the headboards, and Rosa, by the
Studio DonaFlor, on the sides. The choice of table was due to the light base of the
furniture, which allows an easy change of place, if necessary. On the balcony, the
charm is due to the side tables, which also function as benches, of the
Studio DonaFlor, and the two armchairs and modular upholstery of the Contorno line, from
Rejane Carvalho Leite. "We can work with the sofa and with the benches/table
way to promote different integrations between the spaces”, says Natália.

In the pool area, the highlights are the Lazy Day chaise, by Mila Rodrigues, and table
Aram, by Daniela Ferro, and the Drift Nautic chairs, by Adolini + Simonini. The Contorno bar-car finishes off the external decor, moving through the different environments, being
used in the balcony, gourmet space and pool area.
"In furniture, we opted for more neutral finishes, which highlighted the other
shades and textures present in the project. The slatted wood, the cement tone, the
white and the tones of the furniture gave even greater comfort to the
environments,” says Natalia.
