Among the numerous formats, materials and colors, architect Marcelo Rosset gives some important tips when choosing the ideal model for your environment. The first of these concerns the time of purchase.

The professional recommends that, in addition to sitting on the furniture, you should be aware of the density of the foam, the type of coating and the seams of the padding. These characteristics indicate the quality and comfort of the part. Another tip: "If you want a model for the TV room, give preference to the deeper sofas with the highest headrest. The L-versions, as long as used without disrupting circulation, are also great for home theaters because they allow the user to sway comfortably," says the architect. "If the intention is to choose an upholstery for the living room, more formal, models with conventional measures are the most appropriate", he adds.
